Cantina Botrugno
Brindisi is the traditional gesture of conviviality, but also the
name of our city and its D.O.C. wine. Here, you can experience
the journey from vineyard to bottle and discover the story of
the Botrugno family, rooted in tradition and passion.
The Botrugno family will be delighted to guide visitors through
their vineyards, wines, and local products, all while enjoying a
privileged view over the port of Brindisi.
Cantine Risveglio
Cantine Risveglio, with “Appia Wine Road,” invites visitors to
discover the bond between the Via Appia, the land, and wine.
Guests can experience the vineyards and traditional viticulture
— including work with horses and the harvest — and conclude
with technical tastings of Negroamaro and Susumaniello, expressions
of Brindisi’s soils and sea breezes.
Masseria Masciullo
The welcome unfolds like a journey: from the vineyard, to understand
the agronomic practices and soil characteristics, to the
cellar, and finally, the tasting, a moment to appreciate the terroir.
Tenute Bellamarina
The visit includes a tour of the production areas and the barrel
cellar, with an explanation of the various stages of winemaking.
This is followed by a guided tasting of three labels that illustrate
both the territory and the estate’s production philosophy.
There is also the opportunity to take guided walks through the
vineyards in order to observe closely the cultivated varieties,
training systems and agronomic practices employed.
Tenute Lu Spada
The winery offers a complete visitor experience featuring tastings,
cultural events, and food and wine pairings. With “Appia
Wine Road,” you can visit the winery and vineyards, enjoy a
panoramic view of the Lake Cillarese, and follow the route of
the ancient Appian Way toward the sea. At the end of the tour,
you will taste three glasses of our wines. Tours are available in
Italian and English, with no minimum number of participants.
Tenute Rubino
Welcome and introduction to the Brindisi area as the “landing
point” of the Appian Way; visit to the production areas and barrel
cellar with a focus on the estate’s philosophy; guided
tasting of representative wines, with particular attention to Susumaniello.
Upon request, a walk through the rows of the Jaddico
estate, along the Via Appia Traiana.
